Over six years in consulting and 30+ client projects, 15+ of them carbon footprints and product LCAs, I've helped multinationals in pharma, fashion, food & beverage and more measure their emissions and plan their path to SBTi targets. Now I build AI products and automate the data workflows behind that work. The role I'm looking for combines the two.

Sustainability consultant who builds with AI.
I trained as a mechanical engineer, and I still think like one: every number should trace back to a source, and every model should hold up when someone pushes on it. That instinct is what I bring to carbon accounting.
My route into the field wasn't a straight line. An early role in enterprise IT came first, then a master's in Germany and an internship at a Berlin LCA consultancy that pulled me into sustainability for good. Across roughly six years of consulting, what keeps me here is the distance between a spreadsheet and a decision. Since 2026 I've been closing that distance with AI: shipping my own products, improving how language models answer sustainability questions, and automating the manual steps that slow LCA projects down.

I treat carbon accounting like an engineering problem: structured data models, traceable methodology, and no assumptions that can't be sourced.

From data collection and modelling to PEF-aligned methods, Scope 1–3 inventories, and science-based decarbonization pathways.

I ship AI products end to end and automate the repetitive steps in data work, so the time goes into the analysis instead of the lookups.

- Genauly (genauly.de): architected and deployed an end-to-end AI-powered German-learning platform using LLM APIs, prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation, now live with active users.
- Odyss (odyss.vercel.app, in development): a browser-only tool that turns a client shipment file into road and sea transport distances, leg by leg, removing a repetitive manual lookup from every project.
- Odyss never infers a missing value: unmatched names and partial results are reported explicitly instead.

Led carbon footprint and product LCA engagements across seven sectors, set the team's emission-factor guidance and owned an internal footprint database.
- Led 15+ carbon footprint and product LCA engagements across seven sectors, owning method and delivery through to the C-level client presentation.
- Designed a PEF-aligned LCA-at-scale methodology for portfolios of 200k+ SKUs, trading accuracy against data availability and runtime.
- Team reference point on emission-factor data: reconciled ecoinvent, IEA and Defra into working guidance, and harmonised factors across database versions so year-on-year results stayed comparable.
- Ran primary data collection across supply chains in up to seven countries, including factory visits in Turkey.
- Built Scope 1–3 baselines and decarbonisation pathways, one taken through to an SBTi submission.
- Product Owner for an internal corporate footprint database: requirements, budget and release scope.
- Partnered with digital and analytics teams to scale LCA models and automate data workflows, including AI-assisted tooling.
